Commonwealth Visiting Tour at GHS

Gloucester County Public Schools will host the Commonwealth Listening Tour on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Gloucester High School, 6680 Short Lane, Gloucester, Virginia.

The visit is part of Governor Abigail Spanberger’s Executive Order Four and will include Virginia Secretary of Education Dr. Jeffery O. Smith and Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Jenna Conway. The purpose of the tour is to gather feedback from students, educators, families, and community members to help inform state education priorities.

The day will include a school tour and roundtable discussions with students and invited stakeholders. The public is invited to attend the Listening Session from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Gloucester High School. Community members will have the opportunity to share input directly with state education leaders.

The Virginia Department of Education is inviting students, families, educators, school leaders, and community member to participate in listening sessions with the Secretary of Education Jeffery Smith and Superintendent of Public Instruction Jenna Conway. Please join them for an upcoming session and make your voice heard.
