GHS Renaissance is hosting a Trunk or Treat tomorrow, October 29 for kids 13 and under in the GHS student lot next to the field hockey field. Trunks will be hosted by GHS clubs, staff, and students. We will have games and more in the field hockey field as well! We want to host the next generation of Gloucester Dukes - hope to see you there!


📢 Important Update: Tailgate Event Postponed Due to Weather
Due to the forecasted weather conditions, we are postponing our tailgate event that was scheduled for tomorrow. The new date for the event is October 18.
Please note that the game itself has NOT been canceled and will continue as planned.

We're pleased to inform you that Peasley Middle School, as well as Bethel and Petsworth Elementary, have been approved to end their secure status, allowing for the dismissal of all students and staff on time. All afternoon activities will proceed as scheduled. This decision follows close collaboration with the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office, and we appreciate their assistance throughout this process. We also extend our gratitude to parents and the community for their trust and patience.
We encourage parents/guardians to review the Standard Response Protocol resources shared on the GCPS website on April 26, 2024. Additionally, we thank students, staff, and family members for adhering to our safety response.

Based on updated forecasts and the potential severe weather, Gloucester County Public Schools will implement the early dismissal schedule:
Middle Schools: 12:20 pm.
High School: 12:30 pm.
Elementary Schools: 1:30 pm.
Pre-K students will follow the early dismissal schedule and be released at 1:30 pm.
As shared earlier, all after-school activities and tonight's school board meeting are rescheduled for tomorrow, January 10, 2023, at 6:00 pm.


Due to the inclement weather, all afternoon and evening activities have been canceled for Tuesday, January 9, 2024. An additional announcement will be made once a decision has been made regarding tonight's School Board meeting.
