2024 PSAT/NMSQT Registration Information
Per College Board, registration is open only to students who are classified as 10th or 11th graders.
Testing Date(s): Friday, October 11, 2024 and Friday, October 25, 2024
Testing Time
• 8:00 a.m. at Gloucester High School in the Library
• Students will need to bring a fully charged chrome book to the testing
• The duration of the test is approximately 3 hours
Testing Fee
• Cost is 21 dollars and must be paid through the student’s cash online account. Testing registration opens on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
• Testing is limited to 45 students per testing date; When the testing slots/sections are filled, registration will close
• The Friday, October 25th section will not open for registration until the Friday, October 11th section is filled
• If you are unable to attend on the testing date, the testing fee is non-refundable
Materials Students Are Required to Bring on Testing Day
• Two No. 2 pencils
• Calculator
• Fully Charged Chrome Book as Testing is Digital

From the NJROTC presenting the Colors and our Chorus performing the National Anthem to recognizing our clubs and welcoming new 'Staffulty,' the energy was through the roof! Due to the heat advisory, GCPS will take appropriate precautions for all outdoor activities on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Precautions may include cancellation, moving activities inside, providing frequent breaks, and opportunities for hydration.
Gloucester County Government is excited to partner with Gloucester County Public Schools Virginia, Rappahannock Community College, and the Hampton Roads Workforce Council to provide enhanced workforce opportunities for Gloucester High School students!
Such opportunities will include training/certifications in the areas of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Electrical/HVAC, Maritime Electrical, and much more! We want to provide the opportunities necessary to keep our students in the local workforce!

Join us for our upcoming Informational Listening Sessions! These sessions are an excellent opportunity for open conversation and an overview of our strategic plan for the new school year. We invite all community members to attend and share their insights.
Gloucester High School does not have a school supply list, however, teachers will provide a syllabus that lists requested supplies at our Open House scheduled for Tuesday, August 20th. We encourage you to purchase basic supplies such as ink pens, pencils, loose-leaf paper, a 3-ring binder, a basic set of headphones/earbuds to use with Chromebooks and anything else that you feel will help your student start the year off with success.
As we gear up for the new school year, here’s a quick overview of key dates and events in August. Remember, for the most up-to-date and detailed information, be sure to check your school's website regularly.
