Hello GHS Dukes!
This month, GHS recognizes Black History Month and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month. Black History Month honors the contributions, achievements, and resilience of African Americans throughout history. CTE Month raises awareness of the value of Career and Technical Education programs and highlights how they prepare students for high-skill, high-wage careers through hands-on learning, real-world experiences, and industry-relevant skills for success in college and the workforce.
This week, we also celebrate National School Counseling Week, recognizing the crucial impact school counselors have in supporting students’ academic success, social and emotional well-being, and career readiness.
